Believe it or not, it's almost that time! Kid's will be back in school soon, and before we blink, the holidays will be here. In light of that, I'm announcing some really great holiday specials.
If you're looking for fall family photos for Christmas, sessions that are booked by the end of August (For a session within August- December 11th) will have a complimentary set of twenty-five personalized 3x3" magnets. These are really great for putting inside your Holiday cards, or sharing with family and friends!

The last Saturday of September, I will be holding a costume party Mini Session.

Dress up your kiddos, and get some shots that they can show their future wives/ husbands and say, "Do you see how they tortured me?" yet also make them yearn for the days when they could dress up and get lots of free candy. When you're an adult, that's just weird. Such a shame.

The following week will be a pumpkin patch themed Mini. Let your little pumpkins wiggle around a get some farm themed shots. Rumor has it that they may be hosted by a local family farm, Couple Berry Farms. Stay tuned for more information on that!

Here is a gorgeous example of an accordion album. You will get a choice between two designs. They come in sets of three, and have magnetic folding covers.  Perfect little brag books!

A little something I have for those who want to learn more about photography. Feel free to share and print. It's in 5x7 form, and is small enough to tuck away in your camera bag or purse. Stay tuned for my next cheat sheet regarding the manual settings on your camera!

It's true. My littlest is six weeks old today. She's sweet, SO strong, sleeps through the night, takes a bottle in preparations for when I go to photo sessions, and smiles so much! Is this real life?

Find me on Instagram! I'm melissataylorphoto =)
This morning, the sun was out and shining, and the natives (aka children) were restless, so I kicked them out! Jeff and I, of course, came with them and went to our side yard. It's a massive work in progress. It was a beautiful little escape, with roses and a picket fence, but being a parent has definitely taken it's toll on it =|

I'd love to think that I'm a perfect candidate for gardening because of my family lineage and hours as a kid outside, but I'm coming to realize that perhaps, at least at this point in life, I'm a fair-weather-gardener. The sun comes out, voila! I'm all over edible gardens, composting, and microgreens. But maintenance in the cold/hot/ slightly uncomfortable to be outside days? Nada. Just not feelin' it.

I'm determined to at least have something nice, and not hard to look at over there. So, today I began my journey by mentioning an idea to Jeff. It must be from Pinterest, or some gardening eye-candy place. I began to pick a few succulents to explain, since they're plentiful here, and don't die when you don't water them, and decided since I was starting, I may as well finish! Took about five minutes to pick, find and old pot, and arrange these babies, who also will not die when I forget about them... but probably when the curious kiddos discover their beauty and want a piece for themselves.

Good luck little buddies!

Also, some fun shots my dad asked me to take =) I think I know where I get my eye for things...

Yesterday day, my littlest Bug turned four weeks. Honestly, I feared how life would change once she joined us. I feared how much time and attention she'd take from the others, and whether I'd be able to handle another. After all, now Jeff and I would be outnumbered! So silly of me. These past four weeks of getting to know her have been amazing. It's only been a month, but I already have a hard time imagining what life was like without her. Her brother and sister have transitioned so well, and are head over heels in love with her. It's obviously had its trials, but I couldn't have asked for anything better. I love you, kiddos!

Below are some photos I took for my dad for Father's Day. I owe him a few photo mugs!

This is a bit belated, but I've been able to catch up on my blogging, lately! Since Ezra's Mommy is a good friend, I've gotten to follow her from the pregnancy announcement, gender announcement (Which was wrong! hehe), maternity (from which, a photo was requested for a brochure in The Netherlands), newborn, nine month sessions, through to now! Here are some photos from her previous session.

She's a sweet April Fool's birthday baby, and we had to do a cake smash! She's already weeble- wobbling everywhere, and not to mention those big blues! Hard to believe she'll be running around with my little ones soon enough.

Happy belated birthday, Beautiful!
